Piglet the Green Cheek (Owner: Lady Hawk Parrots)
The Green Cheek looks similar to the Maroon Bellied Conure. The Green Cheek have an olive green body and wings (navy feathers at the end of their wings), and a maroon tail. Their head is dark and their throats are gray-green with flecks of green. They are also smaller than cockatiels and are very quiet even when they scream (compared to my other conures).
10" (about the size of a cockatiel)
Undeterminable by appearance.
South America
The Green Cheek is a playful bird, and is very trainable. Some people say that the Green Cheek can get 'nippy' in it's older age, but many others dispute that.
The Green Cheek can be loud, but nowhere near as loud as their Aritanga counterparts.
Prices usually $200
